Xanadu was 40 years ago. This scares the hell out of me. I mean 40 years!! That is the span of my lifetime…and I still ask…who the hell in Hollywood thought “let’s get that badass guy from “The Warriors” to sing and dance with Olivia Newton John, and OH YEA, someone see if Gene Kelly is still alive for one more random ass role!”?
Captain obvious/Commander from Handmaids Tale: They are both lame.
Gorilla Cleans/Dip & Switch Video:
CONSPIRACY DEEP THOUGHT/THEORY: Andy Kaufman/Neil Sedaka: Are they actually the same person?? If so, Andy Kaufman is truly the ‘best performer!
“Livin’ the dream”: I can’t stand this phrase. Never has anyone actually dreamt of doing exactly what you do in your everyday life…there is always an ex-landlord wanting to take you bowling, but you need to leave before the pizza is delivered otherwise your uncle Remus will know you avoided his phone calls again.
Half Kneeling Windmill Video:
Half Kneeling Windmill is a great drill to maintain shoulder stability whilst performing a hinge motion to the floor. The Half Kneeling Windmill is also a piece of the Turkish Get Up exercise that challenges, again, shoulder stability along with hip mobility. This is a great drill to utilize in warm ups and build in for lower body squat and deadlift days.
I’m convinced despite the actual truth that Charlie from Always Sunny in Philadelphia is Bobcat Goldthwait’s son.
Deep Lat Stretch Video:
Do this drill everyday. Every. Day.
Norm MacDonald was one of my favorite comedians ever. Because of his dry deadpan delivery he always could make anything funny. It is also the reason I had, in the early 2000’s, a blog aptly titled “Notes to Self”. RIP Norm.
Someone asked “What is the one stretch I can do while at work if you could do just one?” Of course that is a loaded question, but to only give ONE option is tough because there are too many. Save but “Deep Lat Stretch” I would suggest stretching your hips and hip flexors, yet I will today go with the “3 Way Multi Plane Hamstring Stretch”.
With your foot elevated and a “soft knee” (knee not completely locked out), aim your elbow towards your inner thigh, the inside of your knee, and the outside of your knee.
SOAP BOX….OUT.
