I worked next door to 212 for seven years before I became a member in 2017. I knew the trainers in passing. I saw the enthusiasm pouring out of the people going in and out of the gym. In those years, I thought, "I'm not one of those people." Working out like that isn't for me.
Then I started taking my health more seriously. I discovered I have some food sensitivities and began to clean up my diet. I felt better in body than I had in a long time. I started paying more attention to "those" people working out next door. I wondered if I might be able to make more changes. I also wanted to model better overall health choices to my two boys.
In January of last year, I bit the bullet and signed up. I started slowly to see if I could actually do it. The trainers met me where I was physically and emotionally and encouraged me endlessly. My body started changing and my energy levels increased. I had more energy to play with my kids.
Now I am totally one of "those" people who is excited to be at the gym. I am thrilled I found this lovely, enthusiastic community to help me on my journey to better health. Thanks to all those at 212 for making my journey positive and fun!
