My name is Henry Christensen and I am honored to be selected for December's Member Spotlight. I grew up in Rumford and still live here. While in High School I ran cross country, indoor and outdoor track; I was never the fastest, but enjoyed being part of a team. Presently, I work as a teaching assistant at Hope Academy which is part of Meeting Street School.

Years ago, I joined one of the large commercial gyms where everyone seemed to work out alone. It was an atmosphere that really made exercising feel like a chore. Passing by 212 I heard the excited energy coming out of the gym, so I decided to give it a try. I could not be happier with my experience at 212, with its great staff, members and non-judgmental workouts. The camaraderie makes everyone feel good and the sense of community is awesome!
